We are on a trip to Turkey, and are out exploring the windy mountain roads, where we happened to stumble upon this beauty, resting beside the gravel road.
As always, it’s sad to see a forgotten friend, but so much better having it basking in the sun, on a mountain top, than sending it to the scrapyard.
It has probably been a workhorse, by the look of that impressive bumper!
I must admit that I didn’t check if it was an English Land Rover, or if it perhaps was a Santana. I’m not sure what was imported in Turkey. If you know, please leave a comment below.
